From Bremen to Hamburg

After a short visit of Bremen's downtown, we thank Peter and Vyara for their hosting, and then try to escape from this city.

Vyara, Peter, thank you !
We get very confused when passing by the university, with tilted signposts. But asking our way, thrusting our map more than signs, and relying upon our sense of orientation, we escaped this city-sized maze.

Getting a place at the camping is still a piece of fun, finding the owner hidden among a fleet of caravans.
We spend the evening with a pair of pizzas and of beers, celebrating our first 1000km.

Next day is spent riding on this "national" bike path, be it nice asphalt, cobblestone or dusty trail...

The tent goblin
We settle our tent in the wildness of Rosengarten national park's forest. A lightning striking very close leaves us a bit shaking but tired as we are, there's no problem sleeping.

We painly get into Hamburg, mislead by ambiguous signs, and succeed after several U-turns and acrobatic manoeuvres.

We are hosted by Heidi, who provided a welcomed nice lunch, and a tricky basement for the tandem.
After a short visit under heavy rain, it's our time to prepare diner for our host and we have a very nice evening !

    Marie-No
