Leaving the Vesteralen

It's so difficult to leave John and Anne ! When arriving soaked, the wood stove dried our clothes, we slept more than 10h, tasted some delicious food dishes and spent some nice time tchating until very late.
But if we don't leave now, we might want to settle for a long time...

Anne, John, thank you !
Before setting the heading to the south, we climb a bit north to the nice fishermen village of Sto, setting our most northern point.

Ok, done. Let's go back home, very far at the end of this road ...

Avoiding the big windy road, we take the quiet “bike” road. As we're completely out of schedule for meals, we have lunch at about 16h...

The weather isn't really bad, but temperature stays around a chilly 10°C and the wind is still strong and not on our side. It's definetely different from John and Anne's sunny photos !

As tomorrow's weather is expected to be worse, we make the most of midnight's sun, although above the clouds, and keep riding until very late.

We have a hot pasta diner on a quiet picnic place after 22h and have to stop at Melbu, the ferry not working in nightime. Therefore, we pitch the tent in a nearby field at 1 in the morning with seagulls.
